about the legitimacy of the truth

there are many things i would really like to say.

there are many things i would really like to say.

but i do not say it.

for manners.

however, if you ask me, i answer.

sincerely. genuinely.

but people are not prepared to hear the truth. even though small, even though insignificant it may be.

they don’t know the difference between sincerity and rudeness. confusing one with the other. they got used to having an ego massaged with prompt and friendly responses.

with that i lose my patience. and that is not a virtue that belongs to me. i become rude. and i don’t like the person i become in these situation. nor my interlocutor.

not because i really am. but because the person still doesn’t understand the difference between being direct, frank, sincere.

people have not learned to be prepared for the truth.

or even to hear a simple no or yes without strafing a why right away.

the truth is that they demand it, demand it, but when they hear it, they ignore it, repel it and corrupt it, like rust on iron soon opposed oxidation by contact with water.

i’m sorry, but i have no patience.

next.
